Gloria is known as a tireless “behind-the-scenes” worker

Gloria Rodgers is very active on Summit County Council. She is a member of  the Planning and Economic Development Committee; Health and Human Services Committee, the Public Works Committee and the Long Term Planning Committee.

In addition to important Council Committees, Gloria serves on the Opiate Task Force – a group that is committed to reducing the tragic consequences of opiate abuse in Summit County through education, collaboration and the wise use of available resources.

She is also a member of Consumer Advisory Board and the Child Fatality Review
Board of Summit County. Gloria’s nursing background has served her well for many of
these assignments and also as a member of the Fetal Infant Mortality Rate (FIMR) Case Review Team.

At the State level, Gloria serves as the Vice Chair of the Metropolitan & Regional
Affairs Committee of the County Commissioner’s Association of Ohio (CCAO).
